Making a Claim

If something isn’t right.

If something comes up after the job, a claim takes three steps.

  1. 01

    Contact Us

Call (650) 961-7415 or email office@mcdermaidrestoration.com to report the issue.

  2. 02

    Inspection

We’ll come out and inspect it to see whether the issue falls within warranty coverage.

  3. 03

    Resolution

If it’s covered, we’ll schedule the repairs promptly, usually within two weeks of the inspection.

Upkeep

Care keeps the warranty in force.

Paint lasts longer when it’s looked after, and the warranty expects that care. These are the basics.

Exterior

  • Annual inspection for damage or wear
  • Clean surfaces annually with mild detergent
  • Address moisture issues promptly
  • Trim vegetation away from painted surfaces
  • Touch up damaged areas quickly

Interior

  • Clean walls with mild soap and soft cloth
  • Touch up scuffs with retained sample paint
  • Maintain humidity below 60% to prevent moisture damage
  • Address leaks immediately to prevent staining
  • Use rubber bumpers behind door handles

We also offer an Annual Maintenance Program that handles the inspection, cleaning, and touch-ups for you.
