Home / Privacy & Discretion

Discretion by default.

The people working in a house see a good deal of it. Our crew is background-checked and signs NDAs on sensitive projects, we come in unmarked vehicles on request, and we take no interior photos without your written permission.

Trust

You’re letting us into the house.

For 34 years we’ve worked on Atherton estates, Woodside compounds and historic Palo Alto homes. On every project that needs them, the rules below aren’t up for negotiation.

Our Commitments

Seven rules the crew follows.

With written permission
No interior photography without permission

Not without your written permission. When we do document the work, we photograph technical details like brushwork, prep conditions and color samples. We don’t photograph personal spaces or belongings.

Non-disclosure agreements

On a sensitive project, every crew member signs one before work starts. That puts your privacy in a legal agreement, on top of ordinary good manners.

Unmarked vehicles upon request

Ask, and we’ll come in vehicles with no company name on them. It’s common practice for high-profile clients and sensitive projects across the Peninsula.

Schedule coordination

We work to your family’s calendar. That can mean while you’re away, within set hours, or alongside your security staff and other contractors.

Secure access protocols

Every crew member is background-checked. We secure all work areas, and nobody on the crew gets more access details than their own work needs.

Digital project portals

Estate managers and owners who are away get 24/7 access to a project portal with daily written reports, photos and direct messages to the project lead.

Professional crew conduct

Our crews are trained for working in a lived-in estate. They keep their voices down, don’t smoke on the property, and work around the household’s routine and private spaces.

For Estate Managers

What you get day to day.

Data

Daily written reports
What got done, materials, hours, any problems and the next day’s plan. You don’t have to be on site to know.
Photo documentation
Every report includes timestamped photos of the day’s work.
Direct communication
You reach the project lead directly, at one number and one email, without going through anyone else.
Schedule coordination
We plan around family events, travel and the other contractors on the property.
Problem-solving
We catch most problems on the daily walk-through and deal with them before they reach the owner.
One project lead
The same person from the estimate to the final walk-through. Nobody hands you off, and the scope doesn’t drift.
