One company for the whole house.

McDermaid Restoration & Remodeling is a family run company, started in 1992. We paint, restore and remodel houses that are already standing, from one end of the Bay Area Peninsula to the other.
Paint inside and out, kitchens and baths, wildfire mitigation to reduce a house’s risk, and maintenance programs between the bigger jobs. We’re not a franchise.

Wash, scrape, sand, prime
Preparation Is the Job
We wash, scrape, sand, make the repairs and put on the primer the surface calls for. Paint is no better than what it sits on.

Materials
Fine Paints of Europe, Hardie, Vulcan
Materials Outlive Labor
Labor costs far more than materials, so skimping on paint saves very little. We use Fine Paints of Europe, Hardie fiber cement siding, Vulcan vents and the primer each manufacturer calls for.
